SO WHY SHOULD I REGISTER WITH BIDRIDER ?
BIDRIDER is an Approved Copart Broker. Out of all the thousands of registered Copart members we have been selected because of our past reliable and honest transaction history. CAN I IMPORT THIS VEHICLE INTO MY COUNTRY?
Mayby! There are many laws that apply to the importation of motor vehicles in to your respective countries. We strongly advise that your read thoroughly all relevant information posted on your own governments websites before Bidding. Tip There is a wealth of knowleadge out there on the internet , Forums etc. Make good use of them. Also remember that BIDRIDER is only a phone call away and we are always glad to help where we can. ARE THERE ANY HIDDEN COST?
Yes and No! As with all things it pays to carefully read through all aspects of any process like this. BIDRIDER will try and inform you of all cost associated from our side and Coparts side in advance. Tip always factor in a little bit of finacial room to move.

WILL THERE BE ANY GST, VAT OR DUTIES TO BE PAID?
Yes some countrys will charge a GST or VAT that will have to be paid during the custom clearance process. Of course this may be claimed back if the vehicle is purchase through as a business enterprise. Some but not all countries have extra duties to pay, so you need to read up on the laws from your respective countries. BIDRIDER is ased in New Zealand which has a 12.5% GST ssystem.

WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET.
When you go to any web auction (Ebay or Trademe) you are relying solely on the photos and information given in the listing, the same applies to Copart Auctions as well. In fact BIDRIDER has no extra information other than what you can see when you visit Copart's website. Tip Study very, very carefully the photos, consider all the options and costs if you are looking at a damaged vehicle.

HOW DOES BIDRIDER MAKE MONEY?
BIDRIDER has a 3 tier registration fee structure of $50 for one month, $100 for 6 months and $150 annually (12 months). After that, BIDRIDER has a very simple to understand fee structure of $200usd or 5% of the the total purchase (whichever is greater). IS MY DEPOSIT REFUNDIBLE IF I DON'T HAVE THE WINNING BID?
Yes for customers that have used BIDRIDER services before successfully,your full deposit will be refunded into your Bank / Paypal account minus a small fee to cover the bank transaction charge. If it was your first time and your bid was unsuccessful and you don't wish to try again, You deposit will be refunded minus a setup and Bank Transaction charge.Tip Just leave your deposit with BIDRIDER until you have locate another vehicle you wish to bid on in the future.

IS MY DEPOSIT REFUNDIBLE IF I HAVE THE WINNING BID BUT PULL OUT OF THE SALE?
Unfortunely NO. Copart have strict rules for all to read on their website that state the follow. (I agree to pay the Relist fee off $400 or 10% of the Bid , which ever is greater,per vehicles , and any collection cost ). Tip Only bid if you are 100% commited to follow through.

CAN I FIND OUT MORE ABOUT THE VEHICLE BEFORE I BID?
Normally no. Sometimes an outside inspector can be arranged to give an appraisal for an extra cost. This would be an outside inspector with no guarunties given by BIDRIDER.

WHAT CURRENCY SHOULD I PAY IN?
To make things easier and more transparent for BIDRIDER Global clients, we have accounts set up in US Dollars, so that you pay the correct amount at the absolute current exchange rate at the time of payment to avoid unnessary extra exchange and bank fees.For our New Zealand based customers we also accept NZ dollars. We also accept and Paypal payments for deposits and amounts up to $1000 US Dollars only.

WHAT DOES "ON APPROVAL" MEAN?
Most vehicles have a reserve price set by the insurance company that the vehicle has originated from. When this reserve has not been meet by the highest bidder then. i.e, if the highest bidder is you, Copart will tell you what the reserve was and then you can choose to either increase the bid or re-submit the bid at the same level. This process can takel from 5 mins to 2 day to complete.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN A VEHICLE DOES NOT SELL AFTER THE FULL BIDDING PROCESS?
Normally the vehicle will be relisted on Copart within a few days. Tip regular searchs on the Copart search engine will reveal whether your car of interest has been re-listed.

CAN I CONTACT COPART DIRECTLY?
Though you are free to,you are actually purchasing the car from BIDRIDER and not Copart.If you have any quiries please contact BIDRIDER first and we will endeavour to answer any of your questions. Any and all information relating to the transaction between Copart and BIDRIDER are confidenial and as such would not be given out by Copart.

WHY HAVE I BEEN CHARGED A COPART LATE FEE?
Copart have strick payment and pickup rules and any late payment is normally met with late fees. These fees will only be passed on to you as a BIDRIDER client if payment from you has not been deposited and confirmation faxed in the agreed time. Tip Fast payments save can save you $$$$$ As some banks can take up to 4 day to transfer internationally. Also don't forget weekends.

COPART WON'T RELEASE THE VEHICLE TO THE PICKUP DRIVER THAT I HAVE ARRANGED MYSELF?
This situation will only occur because of out standing fees . ie, the Inland transport that you have arranged to pick up the vehicle hasn't done so in Coparts alloted free storage days. Tip to avoid this type of situation make sure that if you are arranging transport yourself that you pre-plan companies and times before you win an auction. Or use BIDRIDER for your tansport needs. Any late fees incurred when BIDRIDER has been instructed by a client to handle their transport needs will be met and paid for by BIDRIDER and not the client.

I HAVE RECEIVED MY VEHICLE BUT IT IS MISSING A PART THAT WAS IN THE PHOTOGRAPHS, WHY?
Unfortunately this does occur time to time whether from lost, honest misplacement or other. Copart and our transport partners are all highly professial companies that try their best to confine these occurance to a minimal. Recovey and blame is very hard to prove for in these instances though, where BIDRIDER can help- we will. Sea Transport can be covered by insurance if you so wish at an extra cost but outside of this BIDRIDER is unable to guarantee any or all loss and damages, should any occur after your bid has been successful. CAN I BID ON MORE THAN ONE ITEM AT A TIME?
Yes you can bid on as many items as you should wish as long as you have met BIDRIDER's deposit requirements. Tip First we recomend that you try BIDRIDER service with one vehicle and then if you are happy with the level and value of service, then be all means we would love more of your business.

ARE INLAND TRANSPORT COSTS REALLY THAT EXPENSIVE?
Yes, infact it can be more expensive to send a motorcycle from one side of the US to the other that what is cost to freight (only) it from the US to New Zealand.If you are in Europe then it might be finacially better off to purchase from the East Coast or the West coast if you are in either Australia or New Zealand Tip Once again, factor and study all potential costs before hand.

HOW BIG A VEHICLE CAN BIDRIDER SHIP FOR ME?
BIDRIDER in the past has specialised in cars and bikes, as this is what the majority of our customer want us to transport for them. If you are thinking of purchasing a large or unusal vehicle and are thinking of using BIDRIDER to transport it to you, all we ask is give us advance notification so we can pre-check transport options and costs before the bidding / buying process begins.

WHY IS THE TRANSPORTATION TAKING LONGER THAN EXPECTED?
After you have instructed BIDRIDER to handle some or all of your transport needs, BIDRIDER will give you a rough time scale for the total process. Sometimes there will be slight delays as containers, weather, boats and holidays can play havoc with time tables. Normally any delay will only be a matter of days and not weeks. and sometimes our service might be quicker than what we have told you.

CAN I TRACK MY CONTAINER/VEHICLE?
Yes, if BIDRIDER is handling the sea transportation then we can provide you with a container tracking number so you can see when your vehicle has left or arrived at ports all over the world.

WHAT ABOUT TITLES AND DAMAGE TYPES?
It is important to read up on what titles and damage types can be imported into your respective country. i.e New Zealand does not allow the importation for registration of flood damaged cars . So not knowing the laws on these matter could be a very costly mistake. Tip Read, scroll and phone as much as possible to confirm that it's ok to bid and import the vehicle of your choice.

WHAT PAPERWORK WILL BIDRIDER PROVIDE?
BIDRIDER will provide all the nessesary paperwork that Copart has given,i.e Titles as well as shipping documentation and a full invoice for the services that BIDRIDER has provided. These will be couriered to you as these are very important part of the process once the vehicle has arrived at your choosen destination.

WHAT COUNTRIES CAN BIDRIDER CLIENTS COME FROM OR SHIP TOO?
I guess that is the beauty of the internet as BIDRIDER has a Global reach.As long as you meet a few simple requirements a) You are located outside of the United States or Canada and b) The vehicles are purchased for export. For the Shipping/Transportation side, our staff have had experience dealing with international shipping companies that almost have no limits to what and where they can ship. Staff at BIDRIDER are very much "hands on" and have been involved in the shipping of cars and motorcycles out of the US ( both West and East coasts) to Ports in Western and Eastern Europe and to ports in New Zealand and also previous limited importation from Japan.

WHY ARE THERE NO KEYS WITH THIS VEHICLE?
When you are visiting the Copart website you will notice that a lot of vehicles are sold without keys. As most but not all of the vehicles that Copart sell are insurance claims, the reasons are wide and ranging as to why there are no keys to that particular vehicle. These vehicles will need new keys and maybe ignition systems in some case and if you are thinking that you might try at track the down the key then good luck for your efforts. Tip Once again these are the costs and considerations you, as a potential buyer have to investigate beforehand.
